DR. Todd
H. ADAMS
DDS
Todd is native to Bainbridge Island. Growing up, he had the opportunity to work with his father, Harmon, in the dental office where he was trained as Harmon's lab technician. After graduating from Whitman College, Todd taught conversational English in Japan, worked for a biotechnology firm studying cancer diagnostics before choosing to pursue a career in dentistry.
Following graduation from The University of Washington, School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors, Todd completed a one-year general practice residency program through Harvard University. This expanded his medical knowledge while also honing his skills as a young dental practitioner. In addition to extensive studies of medically-compromised patients, Todd managed the dental treatment of patients ranging from those undergoing bone marrow, lung, heart and kidney transplantation to those too sick to be appropriately treated in an outpatient setting (e.g. AIDS patients, all hospital inpatients etc.). This training also included rotations in emergency medicine, oral surgery, head and neck radiology/oncology, anesthesiology and speech pathology.
Todd joined Harmon's dental practice at the Winslow Green in 1997 where he has become the second-generation dentist treating the Bainbridge community. 2022 marked the 60th year of care provided since Harmon first set up the dental office on Bainbridge in 1962.
Todd (along with his late wife Yaroslavna) is the proud parent of two children, Quincy and Nora, who both occasionally visit the dental office as Todd often did with Harmon, when he was a boy.
Todd enjoys the personalized nature of the care he provides to patients within his dental practice. He takes the meaning of practice as a challenge that it is never enough to stop learning or contributing within the profession. He looks forward to continue years of care and commitment within the Bainbridge community that is his lifelong home.

THOMPSON
DMD
Kelly grew up just outside of Portland, Oregon attending Lakeridge High school. Her undergraduate days were spent at Willamette University where she studied Biology and Chemistry and played 4 years of soccer. Later, attending Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry she met her husband.
After graduating dental school, she spent a year at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in a residency program to further her dental skills and care of medically compromised patients. She has been practicing dentistry on Bainbridge Island since 1998. She feels honored to join this practice and continue the tradition of excellent care for patients. Her desire to deliver compassionate care matches what Todd and his father started years ago. When not in the dental office, she enjoys skiing, biking, cooking or hanging out with her husband and 3 kids.
